Trace
Will is a Georgetown-based real estate professional and developer with a strong focus on land acquisition, investment, and local market expertise. With over 15 years of experience in real estate, he has built a track record of sourcing and selling a wide range of properties, from residential lots to larger land tracts.

Through his work with Grimes & Associates, Will has been involved in numerous transactions across Georgetown County and the surrounding coastal markets, helping both buyers and sellers navigate land opportunities with a practical, results-driven approach.
​
In addition to his brokerage and investment activity, Will plays an active role in the local community, serving as Chairman of the Georgetown County Zoning Board of Appeals. In this role, he contributes to decisions that shape land use and development throughout the area, giving him a unique perspective on growth, regulations, and long-term planning.

Will’s experience spans identifying undervalued properties, understanding zoning and development potential, and positioning land for its highest and best use—making him a knowledgeable resource in the Georgetown real estate market.
As the stepson of Will, Trace has been closely connected to the real estate industry. Working alongside him at Grimes & Associates, he is gaining firsthand experience in land acquisition, property evaluation, and the day-to-day aspects of the business, while continuing to learn the principles that drive successful real estate investment.

In addition to his work in real estate, Trace brings a practical background in land clearing and septic systems, giving him a valuable, ground-level understanding of what it takes to prepare and develop property. This hands-on experience provides a unique perspective when evaluating land and its potential.

With an entrepreneurial mindset, he has also owned and operated two small businesses, further developing his work ethic, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage projects from start to finish.
